I am fat according to the BMI calculator. I’m 5 feet 2 inches and should be between 100-125 or so. First of all, I can never ever weigh 100 pounds!
There are several different charts though; other charts say I’m normal while others say I am fat. The pessimist in me is choosing to believe the calculator that’s telling me I am fat.
I DIDN’T LOSE WEIGHT BREASTFEEDING
The biggest tall tale is that all women lose weight while breastfeeding. Ummm…my daughter is still breastfeeding and, well, I am still fat.
Strange enough once upon a time I used to be a personal trainer, but never took it to the level my youngest sister has. She’s a pro body builder. Before giving birth to my daughter, I needed to lose weight then. I was 136 and now fluctuate between 140-144. I didn’t gain that much weight during my pregnancy with my daughter, maybe 18 pounds at the most.
This morning I weighed in at 143.8 technically 144 but, just to make myself feel better I ignore anything after the decimal.
I AM FAT & OKAY WITH IT
I am fat and embracing my curves because the hubby and I are trying for number 2. So, now is not the time to go on a fad diet or run a marathon. Not that I like running, I hate it. Needless to say, I’ve been eating healthier or at least trying to cook healthier.
We do enjoy our YMCA membership, but instead of working out I’ll drop her off at day care and get some writing done. I can’t make any excuses why I’m 10-15 pounds overweight.
If I am fat, so be it.
IT’S MCDONALD’S FAULT WHY I AM FAT
Maybe it’s the McDonald’s chicken nuggets for lunch and large Diet Coke? Honestly, I eat fast food in moderation. The hubby say’s I’m not fat, but I think he’s supposed to say that. Ha ha ha.
Anyway, I’m going to continue to eat healthy and try to exercise more. But, if I get pregnant, I’ll likely be expanding.
