Love is not hard to find, if you see that you already have plenty of it in your life. And if you’re single but, you are lucky to have a pet, don’t forget they can make your heart day special.
My daughter found her special Valentine’s love at the dog park. A little black and white dog had a blast playing with her. Needless to say, the two played and played for the hour or so that we were there.
Valentine’s Day doesn’t require a knight in shining armor—or a beautiful princess—to sweep you off your feet. It also doesn’t require your partner to shower you with the perfect and most romantic gestures.
loving family pets
Love is under our noses and all around us, especially unconditional kind, which can best be demonstrated by our 4-legged fur babies. Dogs are amazing because they love despite anything you do or give. All they require is your time, to be fed, exercised, and adored.
I’m glad my daughter loves dogs and animals. She’s not afraid to be around them and not afraid to get a little dirty. My daughter is definitely the love of my life, but my 2 fur babies also have a special place in my heart. Both my dogs Abraham and Abigail have been in my life for 8 years and aging. I’m so glad our daughter got to meet them and know them. One day our fur babies will not be around, so I feel blessed and grateful every time all of us can spend time together.
LOVING YOURSELF
We don’t need another person to love us. Loving ourselves comes first. This Valentine’s Day, appreciate your family and not what your partner will give you. Appreciate your kids and animals as well as yourself. After all, love is about finding gratitude in all that we already have.
